Application domain properties

 

Property	Description
Name	The name of the application domain.
Queue and Archiving database server	The host name or IP address of the computer with the Queue repository.
Web Access database server	The host name or IP address of the computer with the Web Access repository.
Security database server	The host name or IP address of the computer with the Security repository.
Internal user directory	The host name or IP address of the computer with LDAP server used for the internal user directory.
External user directory	The host name or IP address of the computer with the LDAP server used for the external user directory.
Application domain version	The version of the application domain.
StreamStudio Portal	The StreamStudio web portal linked to the application domain.
Archive	The Collector archive linked to the application domain.
Physical Layer	Physical layer tied to the application domain. For example, if you have the physical layers Dev, Test and Prod, and tie an application domain to the physical layer Prod, you can only deploy the Prod layer to the application domain. This will prevent users from deploying the wrong layer by mistake. Note: The name of the physical layer must be the same as the name of the physical layer specified in Design Center.
