Securing the Media Management connection profile
Prerequisites
Note:
When accessing a Media Management repository securely, https must be used as prefix in the URL.
To secure the Media Management connection profile

In the Profile Configuration Editor, click the Media Management connection profile.

On the Secure channel profile list, click <Create new>.

On the Channel type list, click SSL (version 3).
Note:
When accessing a Media Management repository securely, SSL (Version 3) is the only supported channel type.

On the Certificate store profile list, click <Create new>.

Select the appropriate container tab (for example, Trusted authorities certificates).
For detailed information about the different container tabs, see Certificate store profiles in the Profile configurations documentation.

Click Add and double-click Default Project resource set.

Click Import File as Resource and browse to and select the certificate.

In the Resource Type Settings dialog box, select Certificate.

Click Add to add the certificate to your profile configuration.

To add certificate password and alias

Enter the Certificate password.

Click Add to add aliases (alias name and password).
