Generating database scripts from Control Center

When you generate the database scripts from Control Center, the scripts are saved in the following directory:

<Base directory>\<Version>\root\config\database\<Collector archive>-<GUID>.zip

Where:

•	<Base directory> – Is the path specified for Design Center Projects during the Framework and StreamServer installation. For example: C:\ManagementGateway

•	<Collector archive> – Is the name of the Collector archive.

•	<GUID> – Is a globally unique identifier for the ZIP file.

Prerequisites

A configured Collector archive is available in the Repositories folder. See Adding and configuring a Collector archive.

To generate database scripts

1	Right-click the Repositories folder and select Create Database. The Create Database dialog box opens.

2	In the Operation area, select Create scripts for later use.

3	Select the repository.

4	Click Start to generate the scripts. When the script are generated, you have the possibility to save a local copy of the scripts.

You must now manually execute the scripts to create the repository.
