Setting up connection profile for Enterprise Library
Naming limitation
The name of the Enterprise Library connection profile cannot include underscore characters ("_").
To set up a connection profile for Enterprise Library

In the Control Center tree view, right-click the Repositories node and click New ELS Archive.

In the Configuration dialog box, enter the parameters to connect to Enterprise Library. See Configuration dialog box (ELS) in Control Center documentation.

Using HTTPS communication with Enterprise Library Services
You can use SSL 3.0 to secure the communication with Enterprise Library Services. To do this you use default security profile included with the StreamServe Setup.
Prerequisites
You must obtain a root certificate for the Enterprise Library server. The certificate must be deployed to the certificate store in the StreamServe installation directory under:
<StreamServe installation directory>\Platform\Core\<version>\bin
\security\certificatestore\trusted\authorities
where:
<StreamServe installation directory> is the directory where StreamServe Framework is installed.
<version> is the version of StreamServe Framework.
To use HTTPS communication with Enterprise Library Services

On the Repositories node in Control Center, right-click the ELS connection and click Configuration.

In the URL field, enter HTTPS for the protocol.
No further configuration is required.

Click OK to save the changes.
