Creating document types Each document type your StreamServer application uses must have a corresponding document model in Enterprise Library. The document types in both systems must contain the corresponding metadata. If you want to create a document model in Enterprise Library based on a StreamServe document type, you can export the StreamServe document type as an XML file, which you can import to Enterprise Library. You can also create a document type in StreamServe by importing an ELS document type into Control Center and then to Design Center. To create a document type and document model 1 In Design Center, in the resource set, create a document type using standard procedures. 2 If required, in Enterprise Library, configure a corresponding document model. Use the same names for the document type in Design Center and the document model in Enterprise Library. Using the same names means you can use Automap in Control Center, which maps the StreamServe document types to Enterprise Library document models for you.
