Service-enabling the Message

You must enable the Message that includes the Composition Center enabled StoryTeller Process to be invoked through web service requests.

Preview output connectors

When service-enabling the Message, you can chose to use a default preview output connector. This connector is automatically created and selected at preview service requests. It is not visible in Design Center.

The default preview connector uses a PDF driver, pre-configured with certain settings (for compression, resolution, etc.) and using output mode Job.

You cannot modify the default preview connector. To use customized drivers or fonts, you must manually create and select the preview connector. See Creating an output connector for document preview (optional).

Note:

You cannot combine default preview connectors with manually created preview connectors in the same Project.

To enable a Message to be invoked through service requests

1	In Design Center, open the Runtime configuration.

2	Right-click the Message and select Settings.

3	In the Runtime Message Settings dialog box, select the Service tab.

4	Select Service to service-enable the Message.

5	If you do not intend to use default preview output connectors, clear the Use default preview connectors option.

6	In the Service name text box, enter a descriptive name for the service.

Note:

The name must be unique within the application domain.
