Document definitions, resources etc. are stored in a web content repository during the document design phase. This section describes how the web content repository is used together with the runtime repository and the enterprise repository.
1 When a Project is deployed, a master Composition Center template is stored in the enterprise repository.
2 When the StreamServe application is started, a copy of the template is stored in the runtime repository.
3 When the web content repository is synchronized with the runtime repository, any new and modified templates are stored in the web content repository. The synchronization is triggered either by a user logging in to Composition Center or by a Task Scheduler application.
4 When the Composition Center user creates a document definition, the template is retrieved from the web content repository.
1 During the design phase in Composition Center, the web content repository is used for storing document definitions and resources.
2 When document definitions are published, they are copied to the runtime repository together with its resources.
3 The StreamServer applications use the document definitions and resources stored in the runtime repository to generate documents. For information about how to create a web content repository and to schedule template synchronization, see the Control Center documentation
