OpenText Media Management images

If there is a Media Management repository available at the company, image assets from this repository can be included in the business documents.

There are three ways of including an image.

Adding a local copy to the StoryTeller document

You can connect to the Media Management repository from Design Center and import a local copy of the image to the resource set. Then add the local copy to the StoryTeller document. During runtime, the local copy is included in the business documents in the size specified in StoryTeller.

Linking an image to the StoryTeller template

You can connect to the Media Management repository directly from StoryTeller and link an image to the StoryTeller document. During runtime, the selected version (latest version or a specific version) of the image is included in the business documents. The size of the image can be specified in StoryTeller.

Linking an image to the Composition Center document definition

You can set up a connection to the Media Management repository in Control Center to enable Composition Center users to link images directly to document definitions. During runtime, the latest version of the image is included in the business documents. The image is included in original size and cannot be resized in Composition Center.
