Configuring the Project
Prerequisites
To create the Message

Select File > New > Message. An empty Message is created.

To create the Event

Right-click anywhere in the Message view and select Add Event and Event type. For field-based input, Event type is StreamIN. A new Event is added to the Message view.

Right-click the Event and select Open. The Event tool is opened.

To create the Process

Right-click anywhere in the Message view and select Add Process > ADEP Designer. A new Process is added to the Message view.

Right-click the Process and select Open. The Process tool is opened with the Settings dialog box displayed. See Settings dialog box.

In the Settings dialog box, select Load ADEP Designer GUI at startup and Add the Message as a data connection in the Data View options.

Click OK. The Settings dialog box is closed and ADEP Designer is launched with an empty drawing area and the content of the Message tree as a data connection.

Select Save. When saving for the first time, the Select resource for storing main XDP template dialog box is opened.
