What is included in a package file?

The package file for a site/application domain contains the following by default:

•	All hosts.

•	All applications (Archiver, StreamServer, etc.).

•	Resources linked to the application domains.

The following configuration files are also included for all applications:

•	iomanager.xml

•	logmanager.xml

•	parameters.xml

•	repositorymanager.xml

The latest deployed Design Center export files for all StreamServer applications are also included in the package file.

Design Center Projects

When a Design Center Project is exported, there is an option to pack the Project and include the Project package file (*.dcpackage) in the export. All Project package files included in Project exports are also included in the packed site/application domain.

Additional files for the applications

In addition to the resources described above, you can export files inside the working directories of the applications to the package file. See Exporting additional files to a package.
