Exposing Template Engine to Composition Center
A Template Engine Process can be exposed to Composition Center. To do this you must Composition Center enable the Template Engine Process and declare all sections to be used in Composition Center. The Template Engine Process, including the sections, are then exposed to Composition Center as a Composition Center template with the same name as the Template Engine Process.
The Composition Center user creates a document definition by adding the appropriate text resources and image resources to the sections in the Composition Center template. These sections and resources can be added to the Template Engine template by using different types of references (see Composition Center interface).
Preview in Composition Center
If default preview connectors are used for previewing documents in Composition Center, the Template Engine template must be UTF-8 encoded. If you cannot use UTF-8 encoding for the template you must create custom preview connectors. The custom preview connectors must have the same code page as the template. See the Composition Center documentation for information about how to create output connectors for document previews.
To Composition Center enable a Template Engine Process
Right-click the Template Engine Process and select Composition Center.
