Creating a data template from scratch

Instead of replicating and rearranging the Message structure you can create a data template from scratch, and then define a data transformation for the Message data. You can do this manually in the Data template panel, import an existing data template (see Importing a data template) or use the clipboard to copy a template, or parts of a template, from another design.
