Template Driven Transformation editor In addition to working with data source, date template and transformation rules in StoryTeller directly, you have access to the Template Driven Transformation (TDT) editor. This editor can be convenient to use e.g. if you have advanced XML structures and to get a better overview of the input data, transformations and resulting data. Simultaneously, you can also test your configuration together with sample data. The TDT editor can be used stand-alone or opened from StoryTeller. When opened stand-alone, the input together with transformation rules and filters (for filtering data instances) can be saved as a transformation project. When opened from StoryTeller, the edited data in TDT editor can be directly saved into the StoryTeller document. This chapter describe some basic tasks of the TDT editor. For more information on the TDT editor options, see Template Driven Transformation editor.
