Panels

The TDT editor displays three panels for input data, and one result panel with up to three tabs.

Input panels

All input panels have the following functionality: • Syntax highlighting • Content folding • Undo/redo • Cut/copy/paste • Possibility to load content from file • Drag&drop content from file into panel

Result panel with following tabs available

•	Data instance – Shows the result of transformation

•	Compiled transformation – If the transformation definition contains constructs that incorporates additional rules in a rule, this tab displays the result of this incorporation before the actual transformation.

•	Data instance - filtered – Shows the data instance result filtered according to XPath filters that you can specify. This can be useful when you only want to see parts that are interesting for a specific context.

To add a filter, enter an XPath filter and click Add.

To edit already added filters, click Edit. This opens the Edit Data Instance Filter dialog. See Edit Data Instance Filter.

You can drag and drop a stored filter file into the XPath filter combo box.
