New Document	Closes the current document and starts a new document. If you run StoryTeller as: • A Process tool in Design Center, you have the option to save the current Process definition. • A resource tool in Design Center, you have the option to save the current resource definition. A stand-alone tool, you have the option to save the current SSD file.
New from File	Closes the current StoryTeller document and opens a template to use for a new document. If you run StoryTeller as: • A Process tool in Design Center, you have the option to save the current Process definition. • A resource tool in Design Center, you have the option to save the current resource definition. • A stand-alone tool, you have the option to save the current SSD file. When saving the document it must be saved under another name than the file you opened.
Open	Opens an existing StoryTeller document. If you run StoryTeller: • As a Process tool in Design Center, you have the option to save the current Process definition. • As a resource tool in Design Center, you have the option to save the current resource definition. • As a stand-alone tool, you have the option to save the current SSD file.
Save	Saves the StoryTeller document. If you run StoryTeller: • As a Process tool in Design Center, the current Process definition is saved • As a resource tool in Design Center, the current resource definition is saved. • As a stand-alone tool, the current SSD file is saved. You can save it in compressed SSD format, see Options dialog.
Save As...	Saves the StoryTeller design in a separate SSD file. You can save it in compressed SSD format, see Options dialog.
Close	Closes the current StoryTeller document.
Load Message	Opens the Load Message File dialog, where you can browse for a Data Message XML file. This can be useful if you start StoryTeller stand-alone or as Design Center resource editor when creating dynamic Fragments and you want to have access to Message data.
Save Message As...	Saves the Message currently loaded in the Storyteller tool into a Data Message XML file.
Data for Fragment	When you work in Fragment editing mode, i.e. when Fragment View is available (e.g. by right-clicking a dynamic Fragment and selecting Edit Fragment), you can specify options for an embedded Fragment the same way as for the whole Document. See Data option.
Data	Enable Data template – If you have not yet activated data template, this is the only option available in this submenu. Select to activate data template. This will let processing use data template instead of message definition for data. Load Data template – Specify an URI from where to import a data template. Create Data template from Message – Transforms the Message definition into a data template. Save Data Template As – Exports the data template and saves it as an XML file which can be used later by using the Load Data template command. Switch to Message – De-activates data template mode and returns to Message mode. Edit XPath Namespaces – Allows you to declare other namespaces for the XML data other than the predefined for interactive items, being: dpii = http://opentext.com/streamserve/docplatform/input-item Load Data Transformation – Specify an URI to an XML file from where you want to import a data transformation definition. Save Data Transformations As – Exports the data transformation and saves it as an XML file which can be used later by using the Load Data Transformation command. Note: The XML file has a fixed format, so you must be careful if you edit the file.
Data source	Select Load Data Source to import data from an XML file. This data can be used for data transformation or document formatting, instead of a Message definition. Select Unload Data Source to unload previously loaded data source. This will enable Message mode if a Message is available, instead of Data template mode.
Processing Properties	Opens the Processing Properties dialog, see Processing Properties dialog.
Most recently used files (MRU)	Opens the most recently used files (Maximum 5 files are listed).
Exit	Exits the StoryTeller tool.
