Chart Data panel

Displays the configuration of all data layers in a chart. To view and edit the Chart Data panel, select View > Panels > Chart Data.

 

Chart Data properties
Series drop-down list	Select the data series to assign a chart layer to.
Assigned chart layer	Select the chart layer to assign the data series to.
For each chart series, you can specify the following options. To make the chart dynamic, you can set modifications on the options. For example, by dragging fields from a block to the chart data option fields.
Category	A chart category. For example, a bar in a bar chart or a pie slice in a pie chart. This column defines the number of categories there is in the chart.
Value	The value of the category.
Axis X value	(Line charts only) The value on the X axis for a category.
Data label	The data label of a category. For example, the printed value pointing to a pie chart category.
Legend label	The legend label for the category.
Fill color	The color of the category.
Font	The font of the data label.
Size	The font size of the data label.
Position vertical	(Line and bar charts only). The position of the data label relative to the X axis.
Position horizontal	(Line and bar charts only). The position of the data label relative to the Y axis for the category.
Label rotation	(Line and bar charts only). The rotation of the data labels.

 

 

Chart data panel toolbar buttons
	Remove series layer	Removes the selected series layer from the Chart data table.
	Remove series item	Removes the selected series item from the Chart data table.
	Set modification	Opens the Data Selection dialog.
	Advanced settings	Shows Font, Size, Position vertical, Position horizontal and Label rotation fields.
