Previewing the document

If you have a working installation of StreamServer you can preview the Document, without having to export, deploy and start the StreamServer application.

Note:

You must open the Document as a Process to use the preview. Composition Center sections are ignored, and metadata substitutions return metadata ID only.

To configure previewing

Specify the settings in the Tools > Options dialog, Defaults > Preview section.

To run preview

Select Tools > Preview.

 

If the preview does not work, you can: • View server output by opening the View > Panels > Output panel. • Disable deletion of the temporary log file by adding the following argument to the Additional server arguments field: -keeptmpfolder
