Chinese, Japanese and Korean support
Because generic Unicode encoding is supported in StoryTeller and the StreamServer supports UTF16, characters in CJK (Chinese, Japanese, and Korean) languages can be correctly rendered in the StoryTeller output. Supported drivers are PDF, Raster, PostScript, HTML and DOCX.

To enable line breaking positions that are optimized for CJK languages, you can specify to use the ICU library.
To enable ICU line breaking by default
1
Select Tools > Options. The Options dialog opens.
2
Select Defaults > Paragraph.
3
Set Break positions to ICU.
To enable ICU line breaking on a specific paragraph
1
2
In the Properties panel, Paragraph section, set Break positions to ICU.
Performance may drop when the ICU library is used for setting line breaking positions. I.e. use this setting only when required.
