Managing documents
You can start the StoryTeller tool in three modes:
All modes support opening of the following file formats:
SSD – StreamServe Document Format
LXF – StreamServe internal XML format
TIFF – Image format
PDF – Adobe Portable Document Format. For font mapping, see PDF font mapping
XHTML format – A subset of the XHTML Specification

You can specify to load the application configuration when you open an SSD file. See Saving and loading application configuration with a document.
PDF font mapping
You can map fonts explicitly in the pdfinfontmap_auto.tbl that is invoked by the PDFIN filter when loading a PDF file in StoryTeller.
The file can be located either in any of the following
In the ../data/tables folder relative to the working directory.
In the folder where the PDFIN.dll file is located.
