Configuring a custom Python command

You can get quick access via a toolbar button to a custom Python command other than the Preview command. For the Preview command, see Previewing the document.

Note:

You must have installed Python 2.6 to run Python commands.

To configure a custom Python command

Edit the StoryTeller configuration file. See Editing the configuration file.

Tu run a custom Python command

Select Tools > Python Custom Command.

 

You can drag the custom Python command button from Tools > Customize > Commands > Tools to the toolbar.
