Scripting in StreamServe > Script execution > Retrieved scripts

Retrieved scripts
A Retrieved script is applied per Event, and is used to act upon the data received from the source application. It is run after the Event (including fields, blocks, and variables) is created.
Job scaling and Ad Hoc Correspondence Reviewer enabled jobs
Variables modified in Retrieved scripts will by default have different values in Before Message scripts and later when you use job scaling and when you have Ad Hoc Correspondence Reviewer enabled jobs (compared to when you do not use job scaling or have Ad Hoc Correspondence Reviewer enabled jobs). You can use the custom keyword ReviewerOpt with the argument JobVarsPerMessage or JobVarsPerJob to control the behavior of these variables.
ReviewerOpt JobVarsPerMessage
Variables assigned in Before Job or Retrieved scripts, and that are used in Before Message scripts or later, always have the correct latest value set.
Variables assigned in Before Job or Retrieved scripts, and that are used in Before Message scripts or later, have the value of the variable set in the retrieved script run before the corresponding Message.
ReviewerOpt JobVarsPerJob
Same behavior for job all types of jobs. See No job scaling or Reviewer above.
Same as ReviewerOpt JobVarsPerMessage.
You set the custom command on either the Logical Platform node or on one or several physical Platform nodes in the Edit Custom fields dialog box in Design Center. See Using custom commands and keywords for more information.
