Runtime configuration tasks

To use a RedirectOUT Process to redirect input files, you need to configure the Event, and specify the variable and selection method for the output connector.

Configuring the Event in the Runtime configuration

In the Runtime configuration, you configure the Event so that the StreamServer will stop searching the input data once the specified field is found. This will increase performance.

1	In the Runtime configuration view, right-click the Event and select Settings. The Event Settings dialog box opens.

2	Select Ignore remaining data and click OK.

Configuring the selection method

In the Runtime configuration, you need to configure the selection method and specify the variable to be used to select the appropriate output connector.

1	In the Runtime configuration view, right-click the Process and select Connector selection. The Connector Selection Method dialog box opens.

2	Specify the Connector Selection Method settings and click OK.

 

Connector Selection Method settings
Lookup	Table - The lookup table. Key - The key value that matches the variable in the table, that will be used to select the output connector Default connector - The output connector for the RedirectOUT Process.
Variable	Variable- The variable that will be used to select the output connector. Default connector - The output connector for the RedirectOUT Process.
