Performance recommendations
In order to obtain the best performance, OpenText recommends that you configure the queue and output connector in the following way:
Enable Callback Notifications on the Vista Plus Output Manager connector.
This allows VPOM to process StreamServe jobs asynchronously and to send job status notifications back to StreamServe via a Service Request input connector. This recommendation applies even in scenarios where job tracking is not required.
If you want use job tracking, the steps to enable Callback Notifications and configure job tracking are described in Configuration steps to set up job tracking.
If you do not want to use job tracking, you can set up Callback Notifications in the following way:
Callback Service Name - The service name of the Service Request input connector that receives the notifications (see below).
Request type - Notification
Service name - The Callback Service Name you entered in the output connector (see above).
