Attaching resources
You can attach resources to an email. The resource can be used as attachment, email body or alternative email body.
When you specify the Attachment path you can either specify the path to a file on disk, a URI to an Open Text Media Management (OTMM) asset or a URI to a resource stored in the runtime repository via a Resource filter or Resource output connector.
To be able access OTMM assets you must first create a Media Management connection profile (see the Profile configurations documentation). When you have the connection profile you can reference an asset using the following syntax:
otmm://<profileName>/<reference>

To add an attachment

From the Attachment type drop-down list, select Static attachment.

Enter the Attachment name.

From the Use attachment as drop-down list, select how to use the attachment:
Attachment – use as attachment.
Body – use as email body.
Alternative body – use as alternative email body.

Specify whether the Attachment is mandatory. If specified and the attachment cannot be added to the email, the job will fail.

In Attachment path, specify the path or URI to the resource.

Specify the Content type of the attachment:
Predefined – Select the content type from the Predefined type drop-down list.
Custom – Enter a custom content type in the Custom type field.

Use Convert PCL to PDF to convert PCL files to PDF attachments.

Specify whether to Compress the attachment and click OK.
