Adding a Windows printer driver
If you use the Windows Driver Tool to create a Windows printer driver, you must add this printer driver to the resource set. First you create a new device driver, and then you add the Windows printer driver file and option file to the new driver.
Prerequisites
The option file (*.txt) and driver file (*.drs) for the Windows printer driver must be created. See Using the Windows Driver Tool.
To add a Windows printer driver

In the Creating new Custom Device dialog box, click Empty Device.

In the Device Tool, in Logical (internal) name, enter the driver name as specified in the corresponding driver file.

In Default display name, enter the name to be displayed in Design Center.

In the Device driver files area, click New.

In the Enter name dialog box, enter the name of the Windows printer driver file and click OK.

In the Device driver files list, check and select the new driver file and click Import Content.

In the Device options area, click Create From File.
