Applicable for Composition Center enabled StoryTeller Processes.

On this tab, you enable email capabilities in StreamStudio Composition Center.

Notes

•	To enable email capabilities, the corresponding output connector for the final delivery must be available in the Project Platform.

•	To enable test sending of emails from Composition Center, an output connector for test sending must be available in the Project Platform.

Setting	Description
Email	Select to enable email preview in Composition Center. When the preview is enabled, the following applies: • The business user can set an email subject on a document definition in Composition Center. This email subject overrides any email subject specified for the SMTP (MIME) or EasyLink Email output connector and is used both when test sending emails and when delivering the final output emails. • If the business user test sends an email, the recipients specified in Composition Center is always used. If you configure recipients in the output connector settings, these recipients are always ignored when test sending emails in Composition Center.
Test connector	Select the output connector to be used for test sending email messages in Composition Center: • None – Select to disable test sending of emails. • Custom – Select to select the output connector for test sending emails using ordinary Runtime configuration procedures for linking Processes to output connectors. For example, by using scripting functions to create a dynamic connection and select a watermark image. • <Output connector> – Select to use this output connector for test sending emails.
Watermark image	Only if <Output connector> is selected above. Select a watermark image to be used when test sending emails in Composition Center. The image must be available in the resource set, and the format must be supported by the email clients. At test sending, this watermark image overrides any Body background image defined for the HTML unapginated driver. Note: You cannot add a watermark image to emails sent via an EasyLink Email output connector using the Watermark image setting in this dialog box. To add a watermark image to such emails, you must use the HTML unpaginated driver property Body background image.

No guarantee that a watermark is displayed There are big differences in how watermark images are treated by different email clients. For example, an email client might not support body background images at all. And even if such images are supported, the email client might have fixed values for the related body background properties, such as repeat and attachment. We recommend that you use the Composition Center test send functionality to verify that the watermark image is properly rendered in each email client of interest. If you identify potential display issues, you must account for those issues in your Project design. For example, by adding textual messages to the StoryTeller template.
