Runtime Repository view In this category view, you can view the database schema version of the runtime repository, and migrate persistent runtime repository data. The items (buttons, fields, and check-boxes) in this view are described in the tables below. Export data to ZIP file In this section you can export resources and security data in the runtime repository to a zip file. This zip file can be used in a number of scenarios, for example: • To backup resources and security data. • To migrate resources and security data from one environment to another (e.g. from test to production). • To migrate resources and security data from a previous version to a new version of the runtime repository, i.e. when upgrading from one version of StreamServe to another. You can also export processing statistics in the runtime repository to a zip file. For example, if you must recreate the runtime repository and want to keep statistics about already made transactions, or if you want to export processing statistics to be presented in an auditing scenario. Item Description Export to Specify the path to the zip file. Areas Specify which areas to include in the export. Note: The ProcessingStatistics data area is always exported separately and cannot be combined with the exports of the other areas. Export Run the export. Import data from ZIP file In this section you can import data from a zip file to the runtime repository. The zip file can be the output from an export as described above (resources and security data). The zip file can also be the output from a document definition export, where document definitions and related resources are included in export. Item Description Import from Specify the path to the zip file. Empty the repository before importing Select to clear the runtime repository before importing data. All resources in all areas are removed from the repository before data is imported from the zip file. Note: Processing statistics remain in the repository even if you select to empty the repository before importing. An import of processing statistics will fail if there are already existing statistics in the repository. Overwrite existing matching data Select to overwrite data in the runtime repository. If not selected, rows with primary keys that already exist in the runtime repository are not imported. This means only new rows are inserted, and no data is overwritten. Note: Processing statistics cannot be overwritten. An import of processing statistics will fail if there are already existing statistics in the repository. Import Run the import.
