Exporting categories

If you need to perform a separate migration of categories from one runtime repository to another you must first export the categories from the source repository to a ZIP file, and then import the categories to the target repository (see Importing resource categories).

Note:

The categories are also included when you perform a complete migration of a runtime repository (see Migrating runtime repositories).

The export includes all categories and references to the resources the categories are assigned to.

To export categories

1	In the Resource Categories view, click Export.

2	Specify the path to the ZIP file and click Save.
