Deploying a web application using manual deployment
When using manual deployment, the management gateway deploys the WAR files to a predefined directory on the Framework and StreamServer computer. After linking the web application to the application domain, you must manually deploy the web application and the related subdirectories to the Java application server.
Adding a web application
Prerequisites
The management gateway that will deploy the WAR files must have read access to the installation folder containing the WAR files.
Name requirements
The web application name must:
Not be the word applications.
To add a web application

Right-click the Web Applications folder and select New Web Application.

In the New Web Application dialog box, configure the web application.

Select Manual deploy.

Click OK. The management gateway copies the WAR files to the following manual deploy path:
<Base Directory>\<Version>\root\etc\unmanagedportals
Where <Base directory> is the path specified for Design Center Projects during the Framework and StreamServer installation. For example: C:\ManagementGateway
Linking the web application to an application domain
You must link the web application to an application domain. You can link one web application to several application domains, but each application domain can only be linked to one web application of each type.
To link a web application to an application domain

In the Web Applications folder, right-click the web application and select Link Application Domain.

In the Available Application Domains area, link the application domain(s) to the web application.
