Search dialog box

If e.g. a Composition Center user gets an error that a service is not running, you may want to find the StreamServer application exposing this service, in order to fix the problem.

This dialog box is used to search for services within your sites and application domains.

Setting	Description
Criteria	Name – Enter the name for the service to search for. If you know parts of the service name, you can combine it with a wildcard, e.g. myservices_* To search for all services, enter the wildcard * symbol (Default). Version – Enter the service version number to search for, or leave the wildcard symbol to search for all versions. You can combine numbers with the wildcard, e.g. 2* to search for all service versions starting with a 2.
Scope	Opens the Select Scope dialog box where you select the sites and application domains where you want to search for services.
Search for	Currently, only searching for services is available.
Search	Click to execute the search operation. The found services are listed in the area at the bottom of the dialog.
Close	Click to close the Search dialog.
Go to	When a service is selected, click to go to Control Center where the corresponding application exposing the service is highlighted.
Results list
Service name	The service name
Version	The service version
Resource	The StreamServer application that is exposing the service.
