The Runtime Repository tab is used for specifying the connection settings for the runtime repository, which includes the Queue, Security, and Web Access repositories.
• The Database name/Service name (SID), User name, and Password settings must follow the naming standards of the database server. Contact your database administrator for more information.
Note: If you use a named instance of SQL Server, you must specify the host name and instance name using the syntax <hostname>\<instancename>.
For example: gbg5000\instance1
Note: You cannot use the system administrator as user name (for example, sa for SQL Server).

• Windows example – db2admin
• UNIX example – db2inst1You must assign the same user for the Queue, Security, and Web Access repositories. The user must exist before the repository is created and must have privileges to create databases. That is, the user must have instance level authority corresponding to sysadm.
• BINDADD – For binding packages.
• CREATEIN – On the collection specified by the Package Collection option.
• GRANT EXECUTE – On the PUBLIC group for executing the packages.
